Akkodis is seeking a Medior/Senior Mechanical Design Engineer in Belgium to contribute to high-value aerospace disciplines. You will design mechanical parts and tooling using CATIA V5, assess feasibility with suppliers, and maintain technical documentation.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or engineering degree (Bac+5) required.
• 3+ years of relevant professional experience.
• Fluent French (written and spoken) mandatory.
• Proficiency in CATIA V5.
• Strong interest in Aerospace/Defence/Armament sectors.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop mechanical parts, assemblies and tooling using CATIA V5.
• Assess industrial feasibility with suppliers and production teams.
• Create and maintain technical drawings, 3D models, BOMs and manufacturing files.
• Provide technical follow-up with suppliers ensuring quality, cost and delivery targets.
• Contribute to mechanical assembly of prototypes and validate solutions.
• Participate in continuous improvement and process optimisation.
• Collaborate with project stakeholders and ensure clear communication between teams.
