Responsibilities

• Design and develop mechanical parts, assemblies and tooling using CATIA V5.
• Assess industrial feasibility with suppliers and production teams.
• Create and maintain technical drawings, 3D models, BOMs and manufacturing files.
• Provide technical follow-up with suppliers ensuring quality, cost and delivery targets.
• Contribute to mechanical assembly of prototypes and validate solutions.
• Participate in continuous improvement and process optimisation.
• Collaborate with project stakeholders and ensure clear communication between teams.

The Opportunity

As part of the development of our activities in Belgium, we are looking for a Medior / Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to contribute to high-value technical projects within the Aerospace, Defence and Armament industries.

Your Responsibilities:

• Design and develop mechanical parts, assemblies and tooling using CATIA V5
• Assess the industrial feasibility of designs in collaboration with suppliers and production teams
• Create and maintain technical documentation, including drawings, 3D models, bills of materials, specifications and manufacturing files
• Provide technical follow-up with suppliers and ensure compliance with quality, cost and delivery requirements
• Contribute to the mechanical assembly of prototypes and the validation of developed solutions
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and industrial process optimisation
• Collaborate with different project stakeholders and ensure effective communication between teams

Your Profile:

• Master’s degree / Engineering degree (Bac+5) in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Industrial Engineering or equivalent
• Minimum 3 years of relevant professional experience
• Strong proficiency in CATIA V5
• Solid knowledge of mechanical design and technical documentation
• Fluent French, both written and spoken, is mandatory
• Professional working proficiency in English
• Strong interest in technical environments related to Aerospace, Defence and Armament
