Job summary

Johnson & Johnson is seeking a Material Requirements Planner in Belgium to translate production schedules into material needs for Pilot Plant operations. You will lead the establishment of MRP processes, coordinate with suppliers and internal teams, and ensure timely material availability for development and manufacturing programs.

The role requires strong analytical skills, cross-functional collaboration, and English proficiency, with experience in SAP/OMP and advanced planning systems highly

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in supply chain, operations, engineering, life sciences, or equivalent.
• 6+ years in supply chain, planning, procurement, or manufacturing.
• APICS or equivalent certification is desirable.
• Knowledge of clinical trials, clinical supply chains, MRP, inventory management, and production scheduling.
• Experience across synthetics, proteins, or cell and gene modalities is beneficial.
• Strong analytical and operational skills; ability to interpret exceptions and make data-driven decisions.
• Excellent communicator and collaborator who can influence across functions and cultures.
• English proficiency; SAP and MRP systems experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Translate master production schedules into material requirements for the Pilot Plant.
• Lead the maturation of MRP processes in Synth DP Pilot Plant.
• Review requisitions, confirm quantities, dates, purchase orders, and supplier commitments.
• Balance lead times, service, inventory, and budget targets; expedite materials when needed.
• Collaborate with Material Managers and Development Teams to ensure material availability.
