Johnson & Johnson Innovative Medicine in Beerse, Belgium, is hiring a Senior Manager / Associate Director into our Solids Development (SOliD) department within Drug Product Research & Development. In SoliD, we design solid formulations and processes across the Janssen R&D Synthetics portfolio, from late Discovery through Commercialization.

Qualifications

• Ph.D. in Pharmaceutical Sciences, Chemistry, Bioengineering or Chemical Engineering — or a Master’s plus equivalent experience.
• 10+ years developing drug products in the pharmaceutical industry.
• Deep experience in solid formulation and process development for synthetic compounds, including advanced drug delivery platforms.

Responsibilities

• Advance formulation and process development for synthetic molecules.
• Explore new drug delivery systems and technologies, create patient-centric products and fresh IP.
• Run technology transfers and deliver regulatory submissions.
• Guide several programs at once and align with CMC objectives and timelines.
