BDO Belgium is seeking a Senior Manager for Internal Audit & Internal Control within its Risk Advisory practice. You will lead complex engagements, act as a trusted advisor to executive management, and drive growth by developing client relationships and opportunities.

We value an 8+ year track record in IA/IR, a Master’s degree, and fluency in Dutch/English. You will coach teams, contribute to recruitment, and ensure profitable, high-quality delivery across engagements.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in Internal Audit, Internal Control, Risk Management, External Audit or Advisory.
• Master's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Law or related field.
• Strong knowledge of Internal Audit standards (IIA), COSO, Enterprise Risk Management and Governance frameworks.
• Proven experience managing executive stakeholders and large client portfolios.
• Strong business development track record.
• Experience leading, coaching, and developing multidisciplinary teams.
• Strong commercial mindset with an understanding of project economics and profitability.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
• Fluent in Dutch or French and English.
