Job summary

La Fosse is hiring a Senior Analytics Engineer to work client-side in Belgium. You will sit with clients, challenge assumptions, and design data-driven solutions that matter for mid-market to large enterprises modernising data platforms.

The role requires cloud experience, strong SQL, dbt and Python skills, plus a keen data quality mindset and a commercial consulting approach. A permanent role with strong growth potential and a comprehensive benefits package awaits.

Qualifications

• 4–6 years of experience as a Data or Analytics Engineer, including in a cloud environment.
• Fluent Dutch and English.
• Strong commercial and consulting mindset.
• Advanced SQL: window functions, CTEs, performance optimisation.
• Hands-on dbt experience: project structure, testing, documentation, Jinja and YAML.
• Data quality mindset. You care that "revenue" means the same thing everywhere.
• Git and collaborative workflows: branching, code review, team development.
• Working knowledge of Python.
• Based in Belgium.

They're hiring a Senior Analytics Engineer for a client-facing role where commercial instinct matters as much as technical depth.
