Job summary

Amaris Consulting in Brussels is seeking a Senior Electrical Design Engineer (LV) to lead the design and sizing of low‑voltage installations for complex tertiary and industrial projects. You will ensure CANECO BT expertise drives robust technical solutions and compliance with IEC standards and RGIE.

The role requires a Master’s degree and 8+ years of LV design experience, with fluency in French and English and a plus for Dutch.

Qualifications

Master’s degree in Electrical or Electromechanical Engineering.
8+ years of LV electrical design experience for tertiary/industrial buildings.
Strong expertise in CANECO BT and knowledge of IEC standards and RGIE.
Experience with DIALux, AutoCAD and/or EPLAN.
Fluent French and professional English; Dutch a plus.

Responsibilities

Design and size LV electrical installations.
Perform cable sizing, protection, selectivity, voltage drop and short‑circuit calculations using CANECO BT.
Develop single-line diagrams, electrical plans, BoQs and specifications.
Carry out lighting studies using DIALux/DIALux EVO.
Ensure compliance with IEC standards, RGIE and regulations.
Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams and participate in design reviews.
Provide technical support during commissioning and mentor junior engineers.
