Amaris Consulting in Brussels is seeking a Senior Electrical Design Engineer (LV) to lead the design and sizing of low‑voltage installations for complex tertiary and industrial projects. You will ensure CANECO BT expertise drives robust technical solutions and compliance with IEC standards and RGIE.

The role requires a Master’s degree and 8+ years of LV design experience, with fluency in French and English and a plus for Dutch.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Electrical or Electromechanical Engineering.
• 8+ years of LV electrical design experience for tertiary/industrial buildings.
• Strong expertise in CANECO BT and knowledge of IEC standards and RGIE.
• Experience with DIALux, AutoCAD and/or EPLAN.
• Fluent French and professional English; Dutch a plus.

Responsabilités

• Perform cable sizing, protection, selectivity, voltage drop and short‑circuit calculations using CANECO BT.
• Develop single-line diagrams, electrical plans, BoQs and specifications.
• Carry out lighting studies using DIALux/DIALux EVO.

• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams and participate in design reviews.
• Provide technical support during commissioning and mentor junior engineers.

We are looking for a Senior Electrical Design Engineer (LV) to join our team in Brussels. You will lead the design and sizing of low-voltage electrical installations for complex tertiary and industrial projects, with a strong focus on CANECO BT and technical compliance.

• Design and size LV electrical installations
• Perform cable sizing, protection, selectivity, voltage drop and short-circuit calculations using CANECO BT
• Develop single-line diagrams, electrical plans, calculation notes, BoQs and technical specifications
• Carry out lighting studies using DIALux / DIALux EVO
• Ensure compliance with IEC standards, RGIE and applicable regulations
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary engineering teams and participate in design reviews
• Provide technical support during commissioning and mentor junior engineers
• Master’s degree in Electrical or Electromechanical Engineering
• 8+ years of experience in LV electrical design and sizing for tertiary and/or industrial buildings
• Mandatory strong expertise in CANECO BT
• Good knowledge of IEC standards; knowledge of RGIE and Belgian regulations is a plus
• Experience with DIALux, AutoCAD and/or EPLAN
• Good understanding of LV/MV networks, switchboards, UPS, generators and protection systems
• Fluent French and professional English
• Dutch is a plus
• Strong analytical, communication and coordination skills
