Equans BeLux is seeking a Legal Counsel to guide the legal aspects of infrastructure projects and public procurement contracts in Brussels. You will combine contractual expertise with collaboration across the Infra unit to enable technical and commercial success.

The role requires a master’s degree in law, 3–4 years’ experience as a lawyer or in-house counsel, and fluent Dutch with French and English. Expect a market-rate package with career development opportunities and extensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in law (required).
• 3–4 years of experience as a lawyer and/or in-house counsel, preferably in infrastructure projects.
• Expertise in contract law and public procurement; experience with large infrastructure projects is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Analyse public and private tender documents during the tender phase and provide legal advice during execution.
• Negotiate, draft and manage contracts, focusing on complex infrastructure and public procurement projects.
• Conduct risk analyses related to contracts and projects; support disputes and claims.
