Job summary

HumanInTech is seeking a Java software engineer for a critical migration project with a public-sector client. You will join a specialist team to transfer registry data between systems, exclusively on this initiative, using Spring Boot, Hibernate and JSF2.

The role requires 5+ years of Java experience, solid Spring/Spring Batch skills, REST/SOAP knowledge and a mix of Oracle/PostgreSQL experience. Based in Charleroi with hybrid work and 1 Jan 2027 start.

Qualifications

• Five+ years of programming experience with Java 8 or higher.
• Hands-on experience with Spring Boot and Spring Batch.
• Knowledge of Hibernate and ORM.
• Experience with JUnit, PowerMock and Mockito.
• Experience with JSF2 and PrimeFaces for web UI.
• Understanding of REST and SOAP services.
• Working knowledge of PostgreSQL or Oracle databases.
• Experience with WebLogic or OpenShift middleware.
• Proficiency with development tools like IntelliJ, Maven, Jenkins, Artifactory, Kibana.
• Active knowledge of French and English.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Java applications using Spring Boot and Spring Batch
• Work with PostgreSQL/Oracle databases and Hibernate ORM
• Build and consume REST and SOAP web services
• Write unit tests with JUnit/PowerMock/Mockito
• Contribute to JSF2 and PrimeFaces based UI
• Deploy and support on WebLogic/OpenShift
• Utilise IntelliJ, Maven, Jenkins, Artifactory and Kibana
