Aikido Security is hiring a Java developer to build and maintain a no-bs security platform for developers. You’ll work closely with the team in a fast-growing startup environment, delivering modular, scalable code and new features while mastering asynchronous programming and performance optimizations.

Ideal candidates are medior to senior, comfortable with entrepreneurial decisions, and fluent in English. You’ll need to be in or able to work within the CET timezone, with flexible working hours

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Java and related technologies.
• Experience with scalable, high-availability design.
• Willingness to learn new languages as product requires.
• Comfortable in an entrepreneurial, fast-paced environment.
• Fluent in English.
• Candidates must be located in or able to work within CEST timezone.

Responsabilités

• Write modular, testable, and efficient code using Java (and other languages).
• Design and implement high-availability applications.
• Discover, plan, write, document and maintain new features.
• Understand the fundamental design principles behind a scalable application.
• Understand the nature of asynchronous programming and its quirks and workarounds.
• Optimize the product code for speed where required.
