Wire IT, based in Portugal, is seeking a Senior Java Developer to join their hybrid team in Schaerbeek, Belgium. The role involves designing and delivering Java applications with Quarkus, REST/SOAP services, and cloud deployments on AWS.

You will work in a senior, international team with a focus on quality, collaboration with stakeholders, and continuous learning. The position offers a no-term full-time contract, health insurance, vacation days, meal allowance, and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Java development with Quarkus, Java 8+, JSP, and SQL.
• Hands-on experience with AWS, particularly SQS, SNS, S3, and cloud deployment.
• Strong knowledge of REST/SOAP Web Services, XML, XSD, and OpenShift.
• Experience with Maven, Git, Nexus, and CI/CD tools such as Jenkins.
• Experience with unittesting, functional testing, integrations, and technical design.
• Strong technical analysis, problem-solving, and documentation skills.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments and collaborating with technical and business stakeholders.
• Native Dutch or French, with very good knowledge of the other national language and English.

Required skills:

• 5+ years of experience in Javadevelopment,with solid knowledge of Quarkus, Java 8+, JSP, and SQL.
