Wire IT in Brussels is seeking a Senior Java Full-Stack Developer to join our hybrid team. You will design, build, and optimize Java applications, collaborating with cross-functional squads on production-ready solutions.

The ideal candidate has strong Java experience, JavaFX and Swing, hands-on with CI/CD, and a mentoring mindset. Fluency in English with Dutch or French is preferred.

Qualifications

• Strong experience as a Senior Java or Full-Stack Developer.
• Mandatory hands-on experience with Java 6.
• Mandatory hands-on experience with JavaFX.
• Mandatory hands-on experience with Swing.
• Experience developing scalable and efficient Java solutions.
• Experience maintaining and optimizing existing applications.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing.
• Experience deploying applications in on-premise environments.
• Good knowledge of Clean Code, SOLID principles, and security best practices.
• Experience working in Scrum environments.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to coach and mentor junior and mid-level developers.
• Availability to participate in a 24/7 on-call rotation after appropriate training.
• Dutch or French, combined with very good English.
