A.S.Adventure, part of Yonderland, invites an experienced backend engineer to join our Europe-wide operations in a growth-focused, international team.

You will design and own scalable Java microservices with Spring, lead cross‑team initiatives end-to-end, mentor colleagues, and apply AI integration with privacy-by-design and robust logging. You will collaborate with frontend, QA, DevOps, data and product teams, ensuring operational readiness and high performance across distributed systems.

Qualifications

• 5-7+ years backend experience.
• Expertise with Java frameworks (Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Hibernate).
• Relational and NoSQL databases.
• Web technologies, HTTP/REST, security.
• CI/CD, Maven, IDEs, version control.
• API design and microservices architecture.
• LLM/AI integration experience.
• Excellent communication and mentoring skills.
• GDPR-aware data handling and logging.

Responsabilités

• Design and implement complex backend services, APIs, and integrations.
• Lead and own key backend features end-to-end.
• Set and uphold code-quality, tests, and performance.
• Apply secure-by-design and privacy-by-design principles.
• Drive refactoring and modernisation and support incident analysis.
• Mentor mid-level and junior engineers via code reviews.
• Collaborate with frontend, QA, DevOps, data, and product teams.
• Bring hands-on AI knowledge and integrate AI endpoints.
