HCLTech in Brussels, Belgium is seeking a Senior Java Developer to strengthen our backend and data platform capabilities. You will design and implement robust backend services, contribute to an event-driven architecture, and build reusable platform components for scalable solutions.

The role requires deep experience with Java/Spring Boot, event-driven patterns, and API design. You will collaborate with Architects, Data Stewards, and security teams to ensure reliability and maintainability.

Qualifications

• Strong backend development experience with Java/Spring Boot.
• Proven experience with event-driven systems such as Kafka.
• Solid understanding of event sourcing, CQRS and distributed design.
• Experience designing APIs and integration patterns.

Responsabilités

• Design and implement backend services for MADP capabilities.
• Contribute to an event-driven architecture with CQRS and messaging.
• Build platform-level components that are reusable and scalable.
• Ensure API contracts are versioned and stable.
• Collaborate with Architects, Data Stewards, Product Owners, Operations and Security.
• Document and share knowledge to maintain a transparent platform.
