Be Consultancy Group BV in Brussels is seeking a Senior Java/Angular Developer to design, develop and maintain web applications using Java and Angular within an international IT environment.

Relocation to Brussels is considered; EU candidates are welcome, but a work permit is not provided. You will join a team focused on reliable, scalable software and collaboration across diverse teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT or a related field.
• 5+ years of professional Java development experience.
• 2+ years of professional Angular development experience.
• Strong knowledge of web application development and software integration.
• Good analytical, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively within an international and multicultural team.
• Experience with Spring Boot, REST APIs, Microservices, SQL, relational databases, Docker or Kubernetes would be an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain web-based applications using Java and Angular.
• Develop and integrate new software components and application functionalities.
• Translate business and user requirements into technical solutions.
• Create prototypes and proof-of-concept solutions to validate technical approaches.
• Develop and execute software tests to ensure application quality and stability.
• Integrate applications with existing systems, services and platforms.
• Troubleshoot, maintain and continuously improve existing applications.
• Collaborate with developers, analysts and stakeholders in an international environment.
