Job summary

MEERAB GROUP in Brussels is seeking an experienced Java Developer with strong Angular skills to contribute to digital transformation projects. You will collaborate with analysts, testers, and fellow developers in an Agile environment to deliver robust backend and frontend features.

Key responsibilities include designing features, writing clean code, creating unit and integration tests, and participating in code reviews. Experience with Maven, Git, and CI/CD is highly valued.

Qualifications

• Proven experience with Java (8/JEE, up to Java 21) and Spring Boot.
• Strong Angular skills with NgRx and modern frontend practices.
• Hands-on with Maven and Git/GitLab CI/CD pipelines.
• Familiarity with Agile/SCRUM methodologies and clean code practices.
• Experience writing unit and integration tests and participating in code reviews.

Responsibilities

• Participate in technical design of features alongside analysts and leads.
• Develop and evolve Java backend components and Angular frontend modules.
• Write clean, maintainable code and perform code reviews.
• Create unit and integration tests to ensure quality.
• Refactor and improve existing code for readability and performance.
• Assist in deployment preparation, validation, and delivery across environments.
• Adhere to Agile/SCRUM processes and SOA standards.
