Job summary

Daikin Europe is seeking a senior Information Security professional to lead and support the ISMS across the EMEA region. You will define processes and controls to ensure policy compliance, drive remediation of gaps, and architect information security within Daikin EMEA in collaboration with global teams.

As primary security liaison for multiple sites, you will coordinate security projects, support audits and ISO27001 certification readiness, mentor junior specialists, and contribute to

Qualifications

• Proven 5+ years in information security, ideally in multinational or regulated environments.
• Knowledge of ISMS, risk management, and compliance standards (ISO27001, NIS2, GDPR).
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management in English.
• Ability to work independently and across departments and geographies.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, ISO27001 Lead Implementer) are a plus.

Job description

• Architecting Information Security at Daikin EMEA.
• Coordinate and contribute to security-related projects & roadmap.

• Serve as prime contact for internal and external audits, and contribute to certification readiness (e.g., ISO27001).
• Actively participate in the development of security governance.
• Provide (Security knowledge) coaching and guidance to junior Information Security Specialists and other stakeholders on security best practices by following latest trends in Information Security.

Required Qualifications

• Proven relevant experience of which 5 years in information security, preferably in a multinational or regulated environment.
• Knowledge of ISMS frameworks, risk management, and compliance standards (ISO27001, NIS2, GDPR).
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills in English.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively across departments and geographies.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, ISO27001 Lead Implementer) are a plus.
