Job summary

Nebiru is seeking an experienced IT security professional in Belgium to oversee security activities across business projects. You will ensure security requirements are considered from the start and collaborate with project teams to complete security forms and evidence collection for NIST controls.

You will assess changes for security compliance, support release decisions, and monitor progress on NIST controls. Strong autonomy, communication, and stakeholder management are essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of IT experience in IT production, networks or technical environments.
• Software development experience and understanding of SDLC activities.
• Solid understanding of security frameworks such as NIST and ISO 27001.
• Fundamental knowledge of network security.
• Experience working on security topics within projects.
• ISO 27001 or equivalent certification.
• Strong autonomy, analytical thinking and communication skills.
• Ability to challenge stakeholders constructively and work across teams.
