Role Overview

We are looking for a SAPProject Lead to support the processes related to Finance, Accounting and Costing. Our IT Center EMEA comprises three departments: IT Planning (PLAN), IT Development (BUILD) and IT Infrastructure (RUN). IT Development has two competence centres – Madrid and Oostkamp – and you will be part of the Oostkamp office. The Oostkamp department consists of 45 internal colleagues, external consultants and an offshore team. The group is young, dynamic and has a strong team spirit with open communication. We implement innovative IT solutions for more than 7,500 Daikin colleagues across Europe & Middle East.

To help further digitise our FI/CO processes we need someone who can combine project management and IT functional analysis. In collaboration with stakeholders from business and your team you will manage projects, develop improvement proposals and implement change requests.

Main Responsibilities

• Act as Project Lead of different international projects within the FI/CO area, including roll‑out projects across EMEA and projects implementing new functionality.
• Plan and execute projects following the Daikin Software Development Life Cycle and the project management methodology, ensuring clear documentation and hand‑over to the IT Operations Team. Coordinate a team of internal and external IT colleagues and developers.
• Coordinate, analyse and implement improvement requests in your area of expertise in close cooperation with business peers, internal IT colleagues and the offshore team. Apply best practices and standardisation, and provide assistance to the RUN team and occasionally 3rd‑line IT support.
• Present your area of expertise to key users and management.
• Follow and explore the future roadmap for IT solutions in your FI/CO area, studying, planning and driving innovation – including recent evolutions in AI.

Profile / Qualifications

• Master’s degree in business, economics or technology.
• Five or more years of relevant experience in a similar IT‑surrounding role as key user or analyst.
• Analytical and innovative spirit, with a drive to continuously improve your area.
• Pragmatic and interested in recent IT evolutions and technologies.
• Solution‑oriented mindset.
• Strong self‑discipline for planning and follow‑up.
• Team player who establishes and maintains good relationships with IT and business colleagues.
• Excellent communication skills and comfortable presenting to groups.
• Prepared to travel occasionally to Daikin group companies in EMEA.
• Very good knowledge of English.
