Job summary

NISH Tech BV in Brussels is seeking a Senior Infrastructure Architect to lead end-to-end infrastructure architecture across data center and multi-site environments. You will assess existing platforms, identify risks, and define target-state architectures and roadmaps.

You will collaborate with server, network, storage, database, security, service-management, and vendor teams to develop architecture designs, technology standards, capacity models, security patterns, and migration strategies.

Qualifications

• 12-18 years of infrastructure experience.
• At least 5 years in infrastructure architecture, solution design, or technical leadership.
• Hands-on expertise in at least two infrastructure towers.
• Architecture-level knowledge across server, network, storage, backup, and database domains.
• Experience designing highly available, secure, scalable, and disaster-recovery-ready enterprise platforms.
• Strong communication, documentation, stakeholder-management, analytical, and technical decision-making skills.
• Required language: English.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end infrastructure architecture across data centers and multi-site environments.
• Assess current infrastructure platforms and identify risks, constraints, and technical debt.
• Define target-state architectures and infrastructure transformation roadmaps.
• Produce high-level and low-level designs, technology standards, and capacity models.
• Develop security patterns, bills of materials, migration strategies, and implementation guardrails.
• Lead technical workshops and design reviews across infrastructure and technology teams.
• Design platforms for high availability, scalability, performance, and disaster recovery.
• Ensure compliance, security, automation, observability, and cost-optimization requirements are addressed.
• Provide technical governance during transition, migration, implementation, testing, and operational acceptance.
• Support major incidents, problem management, and root-cause analysis.
• Drive risk remediation, infrastructure lifecycle management, and business continuity planning.
• Evaluate technology products and vendors.
• Validate solution sizing and commercial proposals.
• Present architecture decisions and recommendations to technical and executive stakeholders.
