NOVA Engineering in Belgium is seeking a Senior Automation Software Engineer to own the complete software lifecycle within demanding industrial automation projects.

You will lead software activities, develop, test, install and maintain industrial solutions, ensure quality and validation, and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.

On-site work is required three days a week in Halle or nearby Wommelgem, with a strong focus on productivity, sustainability and innovation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electronics, Software Engineering, or equivalent.
• 10+ years of experience in industrial automation and software engineering.
• Strong knowledge of SCL, STL, LAD, and SQL.
• Experience with Schneider Drives is a strong asset.
• Dutch language skills are an advantage.

Responsabilités

• Lead all software-related activities within automation projects.
• Develop, test, install, and maintain industrial software solutions.
• Ensure compliance with quality standards and validation requirements.
• Prepare software validation documentation.
• Act as the technical expert and point of contact for software topics.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders.
