Pauwels Consulting is seeking an IAM expert to support the implementation of an Identity Governance and Administration (IGA) tool for a Brussels-based public transport client. You will inventory application authorizations and coordinate with stakeholders to design a coherent access management framework.

The role requires 8+ years in identity management (RBAC/ABAC), 5+ years in business/functional analysis, and strong data quality and documentation skills.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in identity management focusing on Role Modeling, Asset Modeling, RBAC and ABAC.
• 5+ years in Business Analysis and Functional Analysis in complex IT environments.
• Proven Data Quality management and structured technical documentation.
• Experience coordinating diverse contributors and facilitating workshops with business stakeholders.
• Proactive, autonomous and collaborative team player.
• Fluent in Dutch or French with professional English proficiency.

The role focuses on inventorying application authorizations and coordinating with stakeholders to design a structured and coherent access management framework.

Responsibilities

• Inventory and map applications to document authorization levels in a centralized repository.
• Coordinate with application owners to ensure the data quality and consistency of the authorization catalog.
• Lead and facilitate workshops with business stakeholders to model and validate access roles.
• Formalize processes for onboarding, modifying, and decommissioning applications within the access catalog.
• Define eligibility criteria, security requirements, and connectivity standards for new applications.
• Develop and promote IAM guidelines and awareness materials for stakeholders to ensure operational readiness.

Requirements

• 8+ years experience in identity management focusing on Role Modeling, Asset Modeling, RBAC, and ABAC.
• 5+ years experience in Business Analysis and Functional Analysis within complex IT environments.
• Proven track record in Data Quality management and structured technical documentation.
• Strong experience in coordinating diverse contributors and facilitating workshops with business stakeholders.
• Proactive, autonomous, and a collaborative team player.
• You are fluent in Dutch or French with professional working proficiency in English.

Nice to Haves

• Experience working in large-scale organizations with over 7,500 employees.
• Possession of an ISO 27001 Foundation certification or higher.
• Experience within Operational Technology (OT) environments.
