IEE S.A. is seeking a Senior Hardware Development Engineer for its Bissen/Luxembourg footprint. The role focuses on automotive ECUs, radar‑system hardware and SOC architectures, requiring English fluency and strong problem‑solving.

You will interact with internal teams, customers and suppliers while driving design quality and documentation. Ideal candidates have 6+ years in HW development, with automotive experience and a passion for innovative sensing solutions.

Qualifications

• Academic degree in electrical engineering.
• 6+ years of hardware development experience.
• Automotive hardware development experience is highly advantageous.
• Experience with SOC-based radar systems is advantageous.
• Fluency in English is mandatory; German and French are assets.
• Strong problem-solving, planning and knowledge-sharing skills.

Responsabilités

• Develop automotive ECUs according to automotive standards and processes.
• Manage requirements.
• Develop ECU architectures and circuits, including circuit calculation and simulation.
• Design schematics and PCBs.
• Take care of the design documentation.
• Debugging and characterizing ECUs.
• Be the technical interface for other internal teams, customers, and suppliers.
• Report the project status regularly.

Responsibilities

• Developing automotive ECUs according to automotive standards and processes
• Managing requirements
• Developing ECU architectures and circuits, which includes circuit calculation and simulation
• Designing schematics and PBCs
• Taking care of the design documentation
• Debugging and characterizing ECUs
• Being the technical interface for other internal teams, customers, and suppliers
• Reporting the project status regularly

Requirements

• An academic degree in electrical engineering is a requirement
• Extensive experience (more than 6 years) in HW development
• Experience in automotive HW development is a very significant advantage
• Experience with SOC based Radar systems, preferably for automotive applications, is a significant advantage
• Ability to analyse and solve complex problems
• Entrepreneurial thinking
• Excellent planning and organizational skills
• Ability to distribute and spread knowledge within the team
• Experience in Python is considered as an advantage
• Fluency in English is mandatory; German and French are assets
