The organization’s Digital Business Solutions department supports all business operations by providing autonomous and evolving IT solutions. Within the IT Service Management, Transition & ERP unit, the ERP team supports HR, Finance, Logistics and Purchasing departments in optimizing business processes and improving user experience through enhancements of existing applications and the implementation of new solutions. The team is composed of project managers, functional analysts and developers. To strengthen this team, a Senior SAP FICA Functional Analyst is sought to provide expertise in SAP FICA, contribute to ERP evolution, ensure solution quality, and support operational continuity.

Your missions:

• Act as the functional reference for SAP FICA within the ERP team.
• Support internal business departments in optimizing their working methods and processes.
• Improve user experience through enhancements to existing SAP solutions and the implementation of new functionalities.
• Analyze business requirements and translate them into functional solutions.
• Evaluate different solution approaches and recommend the most appropriate option.
• Estimate workload, implementation effort and associated costs.
• Assess impacts of proposed changes on existing applications and systems.
• Ensure service continuity, application stability and maintainability.
• Configure and adapt SAP solutions according to approved specifications.
• Participate in development activities where required.
• Maintain and update functional and technical documentation.
• Define testing strategies and test plans.
• Supervise testing activities and quality control.
• Support deployment and implementation activities.
• Monitor, investigate and resolve incidents and problems.

Your activities:

• Gather and analyze business needs.
• Perform functional analysis of requested changes.
• Estimate change efforts and implementation costs.
• Identify and compare multiple solution scenarios.
• Conduct impact assessments on existing ERP environments.
• Configure SAP solutions and support developments.
• Perform SAP FICA functional analysis activities.
• Work within SAP S/4HANA environments.
• Use ABAP debugging for issue investigation and analysis.
• Update and maintain reference documentation.
• Prepare and coordinate test plans.
• Ensure successful deployment of changes and enhancements.
• Provide incident management and problem resolution support.
• Collaborate with project managers, developers and business stakeholders.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of ERP processes and applications.

You have the following skills:

Functional & SAP Expertise

• Proven experience as a Functional Analyst.
• Minimum 5 years of experience as a SAP FICA Functional Analyst.
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA.
• Experience with SAP IS-U.
• Ability to analyze business requirements and translate them into solutions.
• Impact analysis and change management capabilities.
• Testing, quality assurance and deployment experience.
• Experience with modelling tools.Documentation management and maintenance.
• Workload and cost estimation expertise.
• Incident and problem management.

Business Knowledge

• Experience in the energy sector.
• Experience working for a Distribution System Operator (DSO/DGO).

Languages

• Fluent in Dutch or French.
• Good/passive knowledge of the other national language.
