DynaFin Consulting, a management consulting company delivering services to the Financial Services Industry, seeks an experienced Functional Analyst – Data Migration to support a major transformation program in the insurance sector.

You will bridge business and IT by analyzing migration requirements and translating them into functional solutions while ensuring high-quality data migration from source to target systems.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Functional Analyst, Business Analyst, or Data Analyst.
• Proven experience with data migration or system integration projects.
• Strong knowledge of SQL, data analysis, and data validation.
• Experience translating business requirements into functional specifications.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Able to work independently, take ownership, and proactively drive solutions.
• Comfortable working in complex environments with multiple stakeholders.
• Experience with large-scale transformation programs is a plus.
• Knowledge of ETL processes or data migration tools is a plus.

• Translate business needs into functional specifications, data mappings, and transformation rules.
• Perform SQL-based data analysis and validate migration results.
• Identify data quality issues and support reconciliation activities.

• Facilitate workshops and challenge proposed solutions to achieve the best outcome.
• Support functional testing, migration validation, and defect analysis.
• Identify risks, dependencies, and data-related issues throughout the migration lifecycle.
• Ensure the quality of analysis, mappings, and migration deliverables.
