Hive-X in Brussels is seeking a senior Java developer to join a large-scale program responsible for taking over 30 business applications, providing maintenance, new features, and potential re-engineering.

The role offers hybrid work with on-site presence two days per week and optional remote days. Initial contract runs until 30 September 2026, with long-term extension possible for EU nationals.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years of full-time Java development experience.
• Experience with multi-system integration and complex environments.
• Strong technical knowledge in Java, Spring, Angular, REST, and related tools.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum and CI/CD practices.

Responsabilités

• Develop and maintain business applications.
• Develop application components and web services.
• Contribute to architecture design with leads and senior architects.
• Participate in Scrum meetings, technical working groups, and reviews.
• Assist in testing, documentation, deployment, and reporting.
