Expleo Group is looking for an experienced Guidewire Developer based in Brussels, Belgium. In this role, you will design, develop, and maintain Guidewire solutions, ensuring quality and efficiency across various projects.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of hands-on Guidewire development experience.
• Strong experience with Guidewire PolicyCenter, ClaimCenter, and BillingCenter.
• Expertise in Guidewire configuration and customization.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Guidewire solutions in accordance with business and technical requirements.
• Configure and customize Guidewire applications, including PolicyCenter, ClaimCenter, and/or BillingCenter.
• Develop integrations between Guidewire and third‑party systems using APIs, web services, and messaging technologies.
• Participate in technical design workshops and contribute to solution architecture discussions.
• Perform code reviews and ensure adherence to development standards and best practices.
• Troubleshoot and resolve application issues, performance bottlenecks, and production incidents.
• Support system upgrades, migrations, and Guidewire version implementations.
• Collaborate with QA teams during testing phases and support defect resolution.
• Produce and maintain technical documentation.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and Guidewire development standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of hands‑on Guidewire development experience.
• Strong experience with:
  • Guidewire PolicyCenter
  • Guidewire ClaimCenter
  • Guidewire BillingCenter
• Expertise in Guidewire configuration and customization.
• Strong knowledge of Gosu programming language.
• Experience with Guidewire Data Model extensions.
• Experience with Guidewire Studio and Guidewire development tools.
• Understanding of Guidewire integration frameworks.

Essential Skills

• Java development experience.
• REST and SOAP web services.
• API development and integration.
• SQL and relational databases.
• XML, JSON, XSD.
• Messaging technologies and event‑driven architectures.
• Git and CI/CD practices.
• Cloud experience (AWS, Azure, or Guidewire Cloud) is a strong advantage.

Insurance Domain Knowledge

• Strong understanding of Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance processes.
• Knowledge of policy administration, claims management, and billing processes.
• Experience working within insurance transformation programs is highly desirable.

Preferred Qualifications

• Guidewire Certified Developer certification.
• Guidewire Certified Integration Specialist certification.
• Experience with Guidewire Cloud Platform.
• Experience in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Experience working on large‑scale insurance implementation projects.
