Pauwels Consulting in Antwerp is seeking a Senior Full Stack Developer to contribute to the digital transformation of its intelligence and innovation platforms. You will work in a multidisciplinary Agile team to evolve a modular, microservices-based platform and deliver high-quality software.

You lead and coach a development team, design scalable microservices, and drive continuous improvement. Expertise in React, Node.js, PostgreSQL, Docker, RabbitMQ, Redis, and a strong command of Agile/Scrum

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in full stack development.
• 5+ years front-end experience with React, JavaScript and CSS.
• 5+ years back-end experience with Node.js and PostgreSQL.
• Experience with message brokers and caching systems such as RabbitMQ and Redis.
• Knowledge of containerization and orchestration using Docker.
• Proven leadership or coaching experience within a technical team.
• Experience with microservices architecture and managing large data volumes.
• Proficient in Agile and Scrum methodologies.
• Fluent Dutch at a C2 level.

Our client, a prominent organization in the public safety sector, is seeking a Senior Full Stack Developer to contribute to the digital transformation of their intelligence and innovation systems. This role involves working within a multidisciplinary Agile team to evolve a strategic, modular microservices-based platform.

• Execute complex programming tasks including coding, testing, and debugging to maintain high software quality.
• Lead the development team and provide technical coaching to junior and medior developers.
• Design and implement scalable microservices within a modular architecture.
• Identify and implement opportunities for continuous improvement and technical innovation.
• Drive the Agile development process and take a leading role in Scrum ceremonies.

• You have 8+ years of experience in full stack development.
• You bring 5+ years of expertise in frontend development using React, Javascript, and CSS.
• You possess 5+ years of experience in backend development with Node.js and PostgreSQL.
• You have experience with message brokers and caching systems such as RabbitMQ and Redis.
• You bring knowledge of containerization and orchestration using Docker.
• You have a proven track record in a leadership or coaching role within a technical team.
• You possess experience with microservices architecture and managing large data volumes.
• You're proficient in Agile and Scrum methodologies.
• You are fluent in Dutch at a C2 level.

Nice to Haves

• Experience with Elixir.
• Knowledge of AI Coding tools.
