A multinational defence organisation runs next generation firewalls at enterprise scale and needs a third line engineer for them. Two things sit at the centre of the job: keeping the platform healthy, and keeping the policy on it correct.

The assignment is on-site near Mons. You will build, implement, maintain and support next generation firewalls, verify policy and provide third line incident support while collaborating with security and infra teams.

Qualifications

• Three+ years in cyber security or a related field.
• Extensive hands-on experience with Palo Alto Networks firewalls and Panorama in enterprise deployments.
• Scripting skills in Bash, Python and Ansible.
• Strong knowledge of network protocols, TCP/IP, LAN/WAN and OS security.
• Experience with Unix-like operating systems.
• Relevant security certifications (CISM, CISSP or GIAC).
• Strong communication with technical and non-technical audiences.

Responsabilités

• Build, implement, maintain and support next generation firewalls.
• Verify and review firewall policies to ensure defensibility.
• Provide third line support for infrastructure and operational faults.
• Collaborate with infrastructure and security teams.
• Assist incident handlers in remediation.
• Review security docs and provide technical guidance.
