WLG is seeking a third line engineer for on-site work near Mons, Belgium. You will build, implement, and maintain next generation firewalls and centrally administer policies, while providing deep technical support across infrastructure and security teams.

You will verify firewall rules, aid incident handling, and review security docs, communicating effectively with engineers, managers, and boards.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years in cyber security or a closely related field.
• 3+ years with Palo Alto Networks firewalls and Panorama in enterprise deployments.
• Scripting with Bash, Python and Ansible.
• Networking knowledge: TCP/IP, LAN/WAN, traffic analysis.
• Experience with Unix-like operating systems.
• Relevant certification such as CISM, CISSP or GIAC.
• Clear communication with engineers, managers and boards.

Responsabilités

• Building, implementing, maintaining and supporting next generation firewalls.
• Implementing and verifying firewall policy and rule sets.
• Providing third line support on infrastructure and operational faults.
• Collaborating with infrastructure management and security teams.
• Assisting incident handlers with remediation.
• Reviewing security documentation and giving technical advice.
