WLG is seeking a third line engineer to keep the enterprise firewall platform healthy and ensure policy correctness. The role centers on deploying, maintaining and defending next-generation firewalls in a multinational defence environment near Mons.

You will provide third-line support for infrastructure and operational faults, work with security teams, and help incident handlers remediate issues while reviewing security documentation for technical guidance.

Qualifications

• Three+ years in cyber security or related field.
• Three+ years with Palo Alto firewalls and Panorama in enterprise deployments.
• Scripting in Bash, Python, and Ansible.
• Knowledge of TCP/IP, LAN/WAN and OS vulnerabilities.
• Experience with Unix-like operating systems.
• Certification such as CISM, CISSP or GIAC.
• Clear communication with mixed audiences.

Responsabilités

• Build, implement, maintain and support next-gen firewalls.
• Implement and verify firewall policy to stay defensible over time.
• Provide third line support for infra and operational faults.
• Collaborate with infrastructure management and other security teams.
• Assist incident handlers in remediation efforts.
• Review security documentation and provide technical guidance.
