Job summary

CluePoints is seeking a Senior Financial Reporting Accountant to join our Finance team in Belgium. This hands-on role owns the close cycle, group consolidation, and the accuracy of reporting across Belgium, the UK, Poland, and the US.

You will prepare consolidated accounts, manage intercompany eliminations, FX translation, and drive improvements using Excel, NetSuite, and AI-enabled workflows. Mentoring the team and collaborating with FP&A are key.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years PQE in a group or multi-entity finance function.
• Solid working knowledge of IFRS and experience preparing financial statements.
• Proven experience managing or supporting multi-entity statutory and group audits.

Responsibilities

• Own the monthly close cycle across group entities, delivering accurate consolidated Balance Sheet and P&L on time.
• Prepare and review consolidated accounts and disclosures under IFRS and local GAAP, coordinating intercompany eliminations and FX translation.
• Serve as a key contact for group and statutory audits, preparing audit files and liaising with external auditors and tax advisors.
• Identify and drive process improvements across the close and reporting cycle using Excel, NetSuite, consolidation tools, and AI-enabled workflows.
• Coach and mentor accounting team members on technical accounting topics and close processes.
• Partner with FP&A and business stakeholders to ensure outputs are clear and decision-ready.

The Role

We're looking for a Senior Financial Reporting Accountant to join our Finance function, reporting to the Controller / Head of Accounting. This is a hands-on role at the heart of CluePoints' multi-entity financial operations - owning the close cycle, leading group consolidation, and ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our reporting across four jurisdictions (Belgium, UK, Poland, and the US).

What You'll Be Doing

• Own the monthly close cycle across group entities, delivering accurate consolidated Balance Sheet and P&L on time, every time.
• Prepare and review consolidated accounts and disclosures under IFRS and local GAAP, coordinating intercompany eliminations, FX translation, and consolidation adjustments across our four jurisdictions.
• Serve as a key point of contact for group and statutory audits - preparing audit files and liaising directly with external auditors and tax advisors.
• Identify and drive process improvements across the close and reporting cycle, leveraging Excel, NetSuite, consolidation tools, and AI-enabled workflows to increase efficiency and accuracy.
• Coach and mentor accounting team members on technical accounting topics, close processes, and best practices.
• Partner with FP&A and business stakeholders to ensure outputs are clear, reliable, and decision-ready.

Job Responsibilities

What You'll Bring

• 3-5 years PQE in a group or multi-entity finance function, with solid working knowledge of IFRS and experience preparing financial statements and disclosure notes.
• Proven experience managing or supporting multi-entity statutory and group audits.
• Familiarity with consolidation tools and multi-entity ERP systems (NetSuite preferred).
• Exposure to international tax matters - transfer pricing, withholding tax, corporate income tax filings.
• IT-minded: advanced Excel, comfortable in ERP and consolidation software, and curious about AI-enabled accounting workflows.
• Accounting qualification - ACCA, CIMA, CPA, or equivalent.

Nice to Have

• Experience in a PE-Backed environment.
• Background in SaaS, life sciences, or regulated technology sectors.
• French language skills.
