Umicore in Brussels is looking for an experienced finance professional to maintain the integrity of financial data and ensure compliance with IFRS standards. You will prepare monthly and annual financial statements, manage tax filings, and be involved in process optimization.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor or Master degree in Accounting or Finance, with at least 5 years of experience, and is fluent in English. This role offers a dynamic environment and the opportunity to contribute significantly to a leading organization.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years' experience in accounting processes.
• Strong knowledge of Belgian GAAP; French GAAP is a plus.
• Fluency in English; Dutch and French are assets.

Responsabilités

• Guard the integrity of the general ledger and ensure accurate financial data.
• Prepare monthly IFRS financial statements in collaboration with Business Operations Support.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and prepare documentation for audits.
• Prepare annual statutory financial statements and coordinate budgets.
• Coordinate tax filings and reporting with the TAX team.
• Connect accounting with business operations to reflect business reality.
• Participate in optimization and digitalization of RTR processes.
• Contribute to end-to-end project requirements and testing.
