Octave in Ghent, Belgium is seeking a Principal Customer Innovation Leader to own strategic customer engagements across CoLabs, guiding cross-functional squads and shaping use cases with a clear value hypothesis. You will sit with senior industrial executives, orchestrate multi-use-case programs, and drive measurable outcomes across the asset lifecycle.

You will partner with executives to craft ROI narratives, balance ambiguity with structured scoping, and influence pricing and scaling

Qualifications

• 10+ years delivering engagements with senior customer relationships.
• Experience with heavy industry and enterprise software or AI.
• Ability to shape ill-defined problems into scoped, valued initiatives.
• Credibility with senior executives; ability to lead rooms.
• Familiarity with AI, agentic solutions, and enterprise data for scoping decisions.
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams without formal authority.
• Comfort with pricing, contracting (LOI/MOU), and scaling paths.

Responsabilités

• Own the customer relationship and trusted-advisor status with senior stakeholders.
• Frame ambiguous problems into scoped use cases with a clear value hypothesis.
• Lead the structured engagement cycle (11 weeks, three gates) and manage parallel workstreams.
• Orchestrate cross-functional squads and align business intent with technical execution.
• Tell the value story at each gate, delivering ROI and a path-to-scale for executives.
• Drive productization by feeding learnings back to product pillars.
• Support commercial motion, including pricing, LOI/MOU, and scale conversations.
