Enovates NV seeks an Embedded Software Engineer to work on the full embedded software stack of our chargers. You will write C++ on embedded Linux or bare-metal and Java on embedded Linux, delivering features and automated tests within a cross-functional scrum team.

You will collaborate with hardware, project management and cloud colleagues, shaping architecture with SOLID and hexagonal design while expanding AI-assisted development practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, electronics-ICT, electrical engineering, or equivalent
• Strong embedded software experience in C++ and/or Java
• Fluent in Dutch and English
• Experience with Linux in embedded environments and CI/CD

Responsabilités

• Design, develop and deliver features for embedded charger software (C++/Java)
• Work in a cross-functional scrum team to take features from idea to production
• Translate feature specs into efficient, reusable code
• Handle unit and integration tests and contribute to automated tests
• Maintain and improve existing embedded modules
• Shape software architecture with hexagonal design and SOLID
• Participate in code reviews and refinements
• Use AI tools to improve productivity and quality
