Umicore is seeking an Environmental, Health & Safety Manager to join the Bruges site. You will oversee Health, Safety and Environment, combining roles of Safety Prevention Advisor and Environmental Coordinator while ensuring the site's security.

You will drive the safety strategy, lead audits, ensure ISO14001 certification, and liaise with local authorities and external health services to maintain compliance and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Master degree in a technical field or equivalent by experience.
• Accredited degree of Safety Prevention Advisor – level 1.
• At least 5 years of operational managerial experience.
• Solid knowledge of applicable legislation (regional, national, European, …).
• Strong communication skills and ability to work with all site levels.

Responsabilités

• Set up, implement and manage a safety strategy and management for the Bruges site.
• Monitor and report on safety performance metrics and KPIs.
• Ensure compliance with Umicore group standards and environmental laws.
• Acquire and maintain environmental and building permits for the site.
• Manage site security and represent USMB in sectorial organizations.
