Syngenia SA seeks an experienced E&I Lead to manage the electrical and instrumentation discipline from feasibility to commissioning and handover. You will decide on materials, collaborate with design teams, and ensure ATEX compliance across all project stages.

Require 7+ years as E&I Engineer in process industries, strong instrumentation knowledge, and ability to interpret EPLAN and Caneco. Dutch and English fluency is essential; travel within Europe/Asia may occur.

Qualifications

• Master's or bachelor's degree in electrical engineering.
• At least 3 years leading E&I projects within the process industry.
• A minimum of 7 years’ experience as an E&I Engineer in the process industry.
• Extensive knowledge of industrial instrumentation (pressure, flow, level).
• Experience in project-based work within the process industry.
• Strong understanding of ATEX directives and practical application.
• Ability to interpret electrical schematics (EPLAN) and Caneco cable calculations.
• Demonstrated experience interpreting SIL safety calculations.
• Basic knowledge of hardware and automation; programming not required.
• Autonomous, proactive, solution-oriented, and diplomatically skilled in communication.
• Fluent in Dutch and English; additional languages are a plus.

Responsabilités

• Independently lead the E&I discipline throughout all project phases.
• Make technical decisions on materials and applications considering environmental factors.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external partners.
• Interpret schematics and cable calculations; provide solutions.
• Ensure compliance with ATEX regulations across project stages.
• Support process installation projects and battery-related projects.
• Focus on low voltage with foundational high voltage knowledge.
• Develop technical specs and tender documents; monitor budgets and milestones.
• Interpret SIL/PL/Exi calculations for functional safety.
• Willing to travel occasionally within Europe and Asia.
