Job summary

RTX in Brussels is seeking a high-caliber government relations executive to serve as Associate Director, Global Government Relations. The role focuses on engagement across the EU and NATO, shaping policy in defense, aerospace, and cross-cutting policy areas.

You will navigate EU processes, build coalitions, and advise senior leadership on policy impact across 21,000 employees, 11,000 suppliers, and 65 sites.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in EU policymaking and advocacy, preferably in Brussels.
• Proven ability to influence EU policy and regulatory outcomes across complex ecosystems.
• Strong network with EU institutions, NATO stakeholders, and industry groups.
• Fluency in English; working knowledge of French or other EU languages is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Support and execute the EU engagement strategy, building trust with external stakeholders.
• Influence policy, regulation, and funding frameworks impacting aerospace and defense.
• Engage with European Commission, European Parliament, Council, and NATO bodies.
• Translate EU/NATO policy developments into actionable business implications.
• Coordinate internal stakeholders to ensure consistent messaging and positioning.
• Prepare high-impact briefing materials for senior leadership.
