GemOne, an international telematics scale-up headquartered in Waregem, Belgium, seeks a Senior DevOps Engineer to secure and scale the cloud platform and enable autonomous product teams.

Design IaC with Terraform for multi-region architectures, implement CI/CD pipelines (Bitbucket/Jenkins/GitHub Actions), ensure rapid recovery, and maintain security and reliability across thousands of devices.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in a DevOps environment.
• Proficient with Google Cloud Platform (GCP); AWS/Azure a plus.
• Terraform for infrastructure as code.
• Background in Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
• Scripting in Python and Bash.

Responsabilités

• Design, implement, and manage the GemOne Cloud backbone.
• Act as operationally active and strategically involved in improving the infrastructure.
• Design, develop, and maintain Terraform configurations.
• Build multi-cluster and multi-region architecture, incl. US hosting.
• Ensure the environment can be rebuilt from code within 5 business days.
• Standardize SDLC and deployment pipelines in Bitbucket.
• Develop tooling for backend teams to manage resources securely.
• Drive SecOps and review permissions for security across dev teams.
• Design and implement a robust Disaster Recovery Plan.
• Set up monitoring and alerting with Prometheus/Cloud Monitoring.
• Collaborate with product teams for smooth releases and roadmap input.
• Contribute to DevOps roadmap with new GCP features.
