Septentrio, based in Leuven, is seeking a DevOps Engineer to evolve our infrastructure and automate pipelines. You will bridge development, security, verification and operations, while mentoring colleagues and leading long‑term technical roadmaps aligned with global goals.

The role requires leadership to break silos, build trust, and deliver self‑healing, efficient platforms. You will drive planning and execution with a strong focus on automation and reliability.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent.
• 8+ years of experience in the field.
• Proficient in Linux, Python, networking and web technologies; experience with Docker/Kubernetes and other DevOps tools.
• Experience with Java is a plus; strong automation passion and problem-solving.
• Excellent English communication; team player and leadership mindset.

Responsabilités

• Design, build and maintain automated CI/CD pipelines for rapid deployments.
• Embed security and compliance into CI/CD (DevSecOps) including SBOMs and secret scanning.
• Provision and manage cloud infrastructure using IaC (Terraform, Ansible, Kubernetes).
• Monitor system health, reliability, and security; ensure scalability.
• Automate repetitive tasks for provisioning, testing, and release management.
• Troubleshoot production issues and perform root‑cause analysis.
• Collaborate across development, QA and IT to improve delivery speed.
