Qualifications

• Master's degree in engineering, CS, or equivalent by experience.
• 8+ years of DevOps experience.
• Proficiency in Linux, Python, networking and web technologies.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Ansible, GitLab, Jenkins, Jira, Artifactory.

Responsabilités

• Design, build, and maintain automated CI/CD pipelines.
• Embed security into CI/CD pipelines (SBOM generation, secret scanning).
• Provision and manage cloud infrastructure with IaC tools (Terraform, Ansible).
• Monitor system health, performance, and reliability; ensure security and scalability.
• Automate repetitive provisioning and testing tasks.
• Troubleshoot production deployment issues; root cause analysis.

The Job

Septentrio is looking for a DevOps Engineer to aid with our infrastructure evolution. You will not only automate pipelines but also act as a bridge between development, security, verification and operations. The ideal candidate combines technical mastery with the emotional intelligence to mentor colleagues and the strong desire to build self-healing, efficient platforms. This role requires more than just managing tools; it demands leadership - build trust across silos, steering a long-term technical roadmap consistent with global business objectives.

Your Mission

• CI/CD Pipelines: Design, build, and maintain automated CI/CD pipelines to support rapid, reliable software deployment.
• DevSecOps by Default: Embed security and compliance directly into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., automated SBOM generation and secret scanning) to ensure a tamper-proof delivery chain.
• Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Provision and manage cloud infrastructure using tools like Terraform, Ansible, or Kubernetes.
• Monitoring and Reliability: Monitor system health, performance, and uptime, ensuring system security and scalability.
• Automation: Automate manual repetitive tasks for environment provisioning, software testing, and release management.
• Troubleshooting: Perform root cause analysis of production issues and troubleshoot deployment failures.
• Collaboration: Work across development, QA, and IT teams to break down silos and improve delivery speed.

Your Qualifications

• You hold a master's degree (Applied Science, Industrial Science) in Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent by experience.
• You have at least 8 years of experience in the field
• You are proficient in Linux, Python, networking and web technologies. You have experience with DevOps technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, Ansible, GitLab, VirtualBox, Vagrant, Jenkins, Jira, Artifactory, ...
• You have experience with Java.
• You are eager to learn new technologies.
• You have a passion for automation and computer systems.
• You are a team player with a natural gift to support people.
• You are a principled engineer who stands up for best practices, security, and quality, even when under pressure to take shortcuts. You possess the moral courage to "halt the line" when necessary to protect the system’s integrity, while maintaining respect for your peers.
• You have the courage to challenge suboptimal processes and the leadership presence to bring colleagues along with your vision in a way that is both authoritative and professional.
• You have excellent knowledge of English.
