StaffYourTribe in Belgium is seeking a Senior DevOps / AWS Engineer to own a challenging cloud migration project. You will join an international software environment and migrate infrastructure to AWS, working closely with developers and other engineers.

The role requires hands-on AWS, GitOps, and Infrastructure-as-Code experience; ability to work autonomously; Leuven region with one day onsite per week; freelance assignment in an international environment.

• Previous AWS migration experience is a strong plus.

For an international software environment, StaffYourTribe is looking for a Senior DevOps / AWS Engineer to take ownership within a challenging cloud migration project.

The organisation is currently migrating an existing infrastructure from an external hosting environment to its central AWS platform. The migration is already underway, but due to its technical complexity, they are looking for an additional senior engineer to help accelerate and

further drive the migration.

What will you be doing?

You will join an existing software and DevOps environment and work closely with developers, DevOps engineers and other technical stakeholders.

Your main focus will be:

• Migrating and modernising existing infrastructure towards AWS
• Working hands‑on with AWS, Kubernetes and GitOps
• Automating and improving cloud infrastructure
• Contributing to architecture, stability and scalability
• Identifying technical dependencies and migration risks
• Troubleshooting complex infrastructure challenges
• Taking ownership within an ongoing migration project.

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for an experienced engineer who is comfortable working within complex cloud environments and has been involved in infrastructure or cloud migrations before.

Ideally, you bring:

• Strong hands‑on AWS experience
• Experience with GitOps
• Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code
• A strong DevOps / cloud infrastructure background
• Previous experience migrating existing infrastructure to AWS is a strong plus
• The ability to quickly understand an existing environment and work autonomously.
• Leuven area – 1 day per week onsite
• Freelance assignment
• International environment
• English and French – regular collaboration with French‑speaking colleagues
