Catalay seeks an experienced E&I Engineer to lead electrical and instrumentation design for data center projects and modular piping systems. You will act as technical reference on high-technical-intensity projects, coordinating with cross-discipline teams to ensure consistency of deliverables.

The role requires a degree in industrial or electrical engineering and 5–10 years in E&I within industrial environments, with English at B2/C level for international contexts, plus genuine interest in AI

Qualifications

• 5–10 years of E&I engineering experience in industrial environments.
• Experience on data center projects preferred.
• Strong LV/MV electrical design and instrumentation knowledge.
• Proficient in English (B2/C level) for international contexts.

Responsabilités

• Design and develop SLDs and OLD for LV/MV electrical architectures.
• Model complete electrical cabling, schematics and routing with piping teams.
• Prepare datasheets for transformers, switchgear, UPS, cable trays, earthing.
• Develop instrumentation docs: I/O lists, loop diagrams.
• Apply HART, Modbus RTU, PROFIBUS, PROFINET, OPC UA protocols and control architectures.
• Coordinate with detailed engineering, structures and supply chain teams for deliverables.

E&I Engineer (Electrical & Instrumentation) sought to join an integrated industrial player active in detailed engineering, prefabrication and on-site construction. You act as technical reference on industrial projects with high technical intensity, particularly in the data center sector and modular piping systems. You work in an environment where documentation precision and cross-discipline compatibility (E&I, piping, structures, HVAC) are critical.

Your responsibilities

• Design and develop Single Line Diagrams (SLD) and One Line Diagrams (OLD) for low- and medium-voltage electrical architectures.
• Model complete electrical cabling: point-to-point schematics, cable sets, layout plans and routing in coordination with piping teams.
• Prepare technical datasheets and specifications for electrical equipment (transformers, switchgears, cable trays, UPS systems, earthing).
• Develop instrumentation documentation: hook-up drawings, I/O lists, instrument lists and loop diagrams.
• Apply industrial communication protocols (HART, Modbus RTU, PROFIBUS, PROFINET, OPC UA) and control system architectures (ESD, SIL per IEC 61508/61511).
• Coordinate technically with detailed engineering, structural and supply chain teams to ensure consistency of electrical and instrumentation deliverables.

Your profile

• Degree in industrial or electrical engineering, or equivalent.
• 5 to 10 years of experience in E&I engineering within an industrial environment, with prior exposure to data center projects.
• Strong technical command of LV/MV electrical design and industrial instrumentation.
• B2/C level English required to operate in an international context.
• Genuine interest in artificial intelligence applications within engineering.
