Randstad Digital Belgium is seeking an experienced data professional to lead end-to-end data management initiatives. You will build scalable, metadata-driven platforms on Databricks and Azure, shaping architectures that meet security and governance standards.

The role requires hands-on development, CI/CD, and collaboration with Risk, Compliance, Security, and business stakeholders to translate needs into robust technical solutions.

Qualifications

• Deep, expert-level experience with Databricks, PySpark, Python and Azure Cloud (ADLS, SQL DB).
• Proven track record in data engineering, platform administration, analytics, or scalable data architecture design.
• Strong background in data governance, metadata management, data quality, and security.
• Hands-on with CI/CD, Git; experience with ADF/Power BI or Angular is a plus.

Your responsibilities:

• Provide technical and architectural leadership throughout the end-to-end data management lifecycle.
• Build and maintain scalable, metadata-driven frameworks using hands-on Databricks and Azure Cloud expertise.
• Develop robust data architectures that align with enterprise standards, security, and governance policies.
• Participate directly in development efforts and manage CI/CD pipelines and version control workflows.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders and cross-functional teams (Risk, Compliance, Security) to translate business needs into technical solutions.

Your profile:

• Deep, expert-level experience in Databricks, PySpark, Python, and the Azure Cloud ecosystem (ADLS, SQL DB).
• Proven track record in data engineering, platform administration, analytics, or scalable data architecture design.
• Strong background in data governance, master data management, metadata management, data quality, and security.
• Hands-on familiarity with CI/CD practices, Git, and agile delivery models; experience with ADF, Power BI, or Angular is a plus.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and cross-functional collaboration skills with a structured, pragmatic approach.
