HumanInTech is seeking a senior Data Architect to design sustainable data warehouse architectures and clear data product standards. The role centers on modelling, semantics and ETL/BI components, with cloud/IaC and data lineage responsibilities.

You will lead in an Agile environment from Brussels, working hybrid part-time to full-time, and collaborate across data consumers and engineering teams.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of data warehouse modelling experience.
• 5+ years of data modelling and semantics experience.
• 5+ years in data product architecture and defining architecture standards for long-term manageability.
• Experience with project-oriented work and data warehouse modelling.
• Knowledge of cloud-based data and integration technologies, workflow orchestration and IaC.
• Knowledge of data lineage and impact analysis in data pipelines.
• Knowledge of federated query engines for accessing and querying data across sources (e.g., Starburst).
• Knowledge of Cognos or Datastage for data warehouse applications.
• Knowledge of standardisation through generic building blocks for reuse.
• Fluency in Dutch at CEFR level C2.

Responsabilités

• Plan, design and build data warehouse applications using Cognos or Datastage.
• Model data warehouses with data semantics and metadata management.
• Define data product architecture and long-term standards.
• Build data warehouse components: ETL, BI, databases, metadata.
• Work with cloud-based data and IaC, orchestration.
• Implement data lineage and impact analysis in pipelines.
• Work with federated query engines to access data across sources (e.g., Starburst).
• Standardise through reusable building blocks and modular designs.
• Design API/service-based integrations and reusable services.
