Scrambly is seeking a Senior Data Scientist in Belgium to own end‑to‑end modelling for how users are valued, paid, and protected against abuse. You will forecast value from early signals, influence acquisition costs, and help steer decisions across marketing, monetisation, and risk in a small, fast‑moving team.

You will collaborate closely with engineers and the Head of Data to deploy models into production and monitor performance as the product and market evolve.

Qualifications

• 4+ years as a data scientist working on production models that drive real decisions.
• Hands-on experience with LTV or ROAS prediction — forecasting user or cohort value from early behaviour.
• Adtech or mobile performance marketing background — attribution and MMP data, cohort and campaign economics.
• Strong Python and SQL, with production experience on a cloud data warehouse — BigQuery preferred.
• Rigour about evaluation: choose metrics that reflect business objectives and guard against leakage.
• Experience of models that made it into production and were used to make real decisions.
• Commercial judgement and clear communication — explain model results to stakeholders.
• A proactive, self-directed way of working in a small team.
• English at B2+, written and spoken.

Responsabilités

• Value prediction: forecast user and cohort value from early behaviour and improve accuracy.
• Bidding and pricing: model what we’re willing to pay to acquire users while controlling spend.
• Segmentation and targeting: build scoring and segmentation for value-driven decisions.
• Fraud and abuse: improve fraud model accuracy and balance with legitimate users.
• Evaluation: define model success metrics and maintain out-of-sample discipline.
• Collaboration: work with Head of Data, engineers, and commercial teams to deploy results.
