Randstad Digital Belgium is seeking a senior Data Scientist / ML Lead to oversee the design, development and industrialisation of machine-learning solutions within Azure Databricks. You will work with data engineers, analysts and policy stakeholders to translate business needs into data-driven solutions.

The role requires deep expertise in Python, SQL and Azure Databricks, with experience in ML techniques such as anomaly detection, risk scoring and classification, and a track record in MLflow,

Qualifications

• Master or PhD with 10+ years of experience in data science, ML or advanced analytics
• Strong experience with Python, SQL, Azure Databricks and PySpark
• Strong knowledge of ML techniques including anomaly detection, classification, clustering
• Experience with MLflow, Delta Lake, Unity Catalog and Databricks Workflows
• Experience with Git, automated testing, CI/CD and MLOps practices
• Experience with explainable AI, risk scoring and large-scale data processing

Responsabilités

• Lead the design, development and industrialisation of ML solutions in Azure Databricks
• Collaborate with data engineers, business analysts and policy stakeholders to identify high-value use cases and translate business needs into data-driven solutions
• Develop anomaly-detection, risk-scoring and classification models using supervised and unsupervised techniques
• Use Databricks and Azure services including PySpark, Delta Lake, Unity Catalog, MLflow, Workflows, Azure Data Factory, Azure DevOps and Azure Storage
• Provide technical leadership, define standards and coach team members.
