emagine is seeking a Senior Data Governance Consultant to help organizations manage their data in a structured, high-quality, compliant, and future-proof way. You will contribute to a variety of Data Governance projects across client sites and in centers of expertise.

You will design and implement Data Governance strategies, manage end-to-end projects, advise on data policies, ownership, quality and compliance, and bridge business and IT while engaging stakeholders. ASAP start in Belgium.

Qualifications

• Several years of relevant experience in Data Governance.
• Experience designing and implementing Data Governance solutions.
• Experience with data governance tools (Collibra, Purview, Atlan).
• Strong knowledge of data quality, profiling, modelling, ETL, and data visualization.

Responsabilités

• Design and implement Data Governance strategies, processes, and operating models.
• Manage Data Governance projects from end to end.
• Advise clients on data policies, data ownership, data quality, compliance, and data maturity.
• Act as the bridge between business and IT; facilitate workshops and stakeholder meetings.
• Further develop data stewardship and governance models.
• Contribute to metadata management, data policies, and data quality initiatives.
• Advise clients on selection and implementation of Data Governance tools.
• Act as trusted advisor to senior stakeholders and C-level management.
• Support organizations in evolving towards a more mature and data-driven way of working.

For a rapidly growing Data & AI environment, we are looking for a Senior Data Governance Consultant who can help organizations manage their data in a structured, high-quality, compliant, and future-proof way.

You will contribute to a variety of Data Governance projects across different organizations. Depending on the assignment, you may work from a central center of expertise or directly within a dedicated project team at the client.

What will you do?

• Design and implement Data Governance strategies, processes, and operating models
• Manage Data Governance projects from end to end
• Advise clients on data policies, data ownership, data quality, compliance, and data maturity
• Act as the bridge between business and IT
• Facilitate workshops, stakeholder meetings, and awareness sessions
• Further develop data stewardship and governance models
• Contribute to initiatives related to metadata management, data policies, and data quality
• Advise clients on the selection and implementation of Data Governance tools
• Act as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders and C-level management
• Support organizations in evolving towards a more mature and data-driven way of working

Who are we looking for?

• You have several years of relevant experience in Data Governance
• You have proven experience in both designing and implementing Data Governance solutions
• You have experience with one or more tools such as Collibra, Microsoft Purview, and/or Atlan
• You have a strong understanding of topics such as:
• Data Quality
• Data Profiling
• Data Modelling
• ETL
• Data Visualisation
• You understand how a mature data organization is structured and are familiar with roles such as Data Steward, Data Owner, and DPO
• You have experience in project management and stakeholder management
• You have strong communication skills and are comfortable engaging both technical and business stakeholders throughout a Data Governance transformation
• You are able to work independently, are results-oriented, and have a strong focus on quality, risk, and compliance
• ENG/NL
• French is considered an asset
