At eXalt, we are looking for a Senior Data Governance & AI Transformation Manager. Your mission is to evolve traditional data governance into a proactive, AI-ready framework. You will be responsible for ensuring that the data consumed and generated by AI systems is governed, secure, and compliant with the EU AI Act. You will use AI as a tool to automate the governance of data at scale.
Your Mission: From Data Lineage to AI Trust
AI Data Strategy: Define and own the data governance policies specifically for AI training and RAG systems (provenance, consent, and auditability of datasets).
Strategic Arbitration: Evaluate AI use cases based on data readiness and risk. You have the authority to block a project if the underlying data quality or privacy posture does not meet regulatory standards.
Automated Governance (AI for Data): Implement AI-driven tools to automate data governance tasks:
Automated Data Labeling & Classification for large-scale AI datasets.
AI Watch Agents to monitor data usage registries and regulatory gap analysis.
RAG-based Compliance Bots to answer audits and internal queries on data lineage.
Agentic Boundaries: Define the data delegation rules, what data can an autonomous agent access, and what are the "hard limits" of its decision-making power.
Ownership of AI Policy: Lead the organization’s posture on Responsible AI. Validate registries of AI use cases before deployment and ensure a clear chain of responsibility for every model.
You are a Data Governance veteran who understands that the "Data-Information-Decision" chain is now being accelerated by AI.The Essentials:Experience: 7+ years in Data Governance, Master Data Management (MDM), or Data Quality, with a clear focus on high-impact transformation programs.AI Data Literacy: Strong understanding of how data flows through AI architectures (Vector DBs, Embeddings, Fine-tuning). You know that "Garbage In, Garbage Out" is the ultimate risk in AI.Regulatory & Ethics Expertise: Deep knowledge of GDPR and the EU AI Act.
